That evening marked a significant moment of the trip — the delegation was personally received by His Excellency Nilanga Dala Bandara of the Royal Court of Kandy.
His Excellency Bandara currently serves as the Lay Custodian of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, a position that holds immense religious, cultural, and political prestige in Sri Lanka. His personal reception was a clear demonstration of the high regard and sincerity with which Sri Lanka treated this visit.
02 Exploring the Ceylon Tea Industry Chain and Visiting Gem Workshops
During the inspection tour, His Excellency Prince Bandara accompanied the delegation throughout the core tea-producing regions of Ceylon, personally guiding them on a visit to a tea factory.

The experience was eye-opening for the delegation members and sparked deep reflection on the potential for exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and Sri Lankan traditional medicine.
04 High-Level Parliamentary Meeting: Pragmatic Consensus Reached Across Five Major Areas
A key milestone of the inspection tour took place at the Sri Lankan Parliament Building, where the delegation was warmly received by Honorable Asoka Sapumal Ranwala, Chairman of the National Planning Committee of Sri Lanka.
Honorable Ranwala, a former Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka, wields significant influence and extensive connections in the country's political and business circles. The two sides held thorough discussions across five major areas: infrastructure, healthcare, water treatment, finance, and bilateral trade, in an atmosphere that was both pragmatic and energetic.
Honorable Ranwala clearly stated that Sri Lanka is willing to leverage its unique geographical advantages to serve as a strategic fulcrum and important springboard for Chinese enterprises targeting the African market.
Drawing on the actual needs of member enterprises of the Guangdong-Africa Business Alliance, the delegation proposed a cooperation vision positioning Sri Lanka as a core node along the China-Africa cooperation route. This proposal received a positive response, and the two sides engaged in deep alignment across multiple fields, reaching pragmatic consensus.

From a royal audience to parliamentary talks, from academic exchanges to in-depth industry exploration — within just five days, the delegation efficiently integrated political and business resources and deeply uncovered Sri Lanka's core advantages across three dimensions: geographical location, industrial foundation, and policy environment.
The entire trip was anchored to one central theme: leveraging Sri Lanka as a strategic hub to build a new pattern of commercial cooperation connecting South Asia and radiating into Africa.
During the visit, Sri Lankan business media outlet Lanka Leader published a feature report on the delegation, stating that the visit "signals the early attention of Guangdong's business community to Sri Lanka's potential role in the China-Africa trade ecosystem." Sri Lankan youth political leader Maheel Bandara also noted in the report that, with many African countries experiencing strong economic growth, Sri Lanka — by virtue of its geographic advantage — can fully serve as a preferred transit hub and commercial platform for China-Africa business exchanges, while also opening up new international markets for local enterprises.
